Just an Update

What a busy Weekend for Me. I worked all 3 days at Scrapbook 911 (late nights and long days), while the Girls from the store were in Chicago at CHA placing lots of wonderful orders for all the new stuff that is being release for the upcoming fall and Holiday season. My girls, Jaki & Rana, spent the weekend with Shana and Devon, so that Jaki could spend time with her cousin Kortney, who just got back from France this week and Rana could spend time with Ella. Colin got to go to Grandma Tonie's and play with his cousins Joe and Alex. And Bryan worked his last two days on his current Weekend Night Shift and as of Monday morning will be on the Monday thru Friday day shift. We are not really liking this change, but who knows it might be a change that we need.

Earlier in the week while my mother-in-law, Lorraine was with us, our niece Casey and her son Nathan came over and visited for the day. It was nice to spend the day a home with them and just visit.

Colorado Family Vacation

What an awesome vacation. The kids didn't want to leave and are already planning to go back next year. Of course we didn't really want to leave either. Who would when you were told "No, I got it.", all the time when asking if there was anything we need to help with.

So Thank You for everything Aunt Linda & Uncle David.

The kids (little and big) got to swim, play horseshoes, throw knives at a tree stump that is set up for it, ride the 4 wheeler, and of course there was the trampoline. Along with setting off Fireworks on the 4th.

We were so glad to see everyone and just sit around and do nothing. The weather was unbelievable. It got up to the 90's and went down to the 60's. But their 90's aren't anything like our San Antonio 90's. That no humidity does make a difference.

Below are pictures from our trip up to Colorado, while we were there and on our way home. Which on our way home we caught rain showers through out our two days back. Jaki said on the 1st day back that it was a sign that we weren't suppose to leave yet and need to go back to U. David's.

It was so wonderful to see everyone and hopefully it won't be so long before we go back.

Getting ready to eat Bar-B-Q ribs, brisket, chicken,
and all the fixin's.
